Biography
Growing up as a teenager in the 80’s, Carl witnessed the early days and rise of heavy metal. Infected by the energy, solo’s and riffs he collected a big number of novelties and grew a field of expertise in the world of heavy metal. After traveling a lot around the globe he started his own record store LSP Company (later Metalzone), specializing in all genres and varieties of heavy metal. From Black to Thrash and from Glam to Nu. He saw and experienced the evolution of the genre from nearby.

In 1986 he started his DJ career at the legendary Biebob club in Vosselaar. One of Belgium’s finest, and Europe’s well known venues for heavy metal. Hosting many parties and DJ-ing after concerts of now many major bands in the genre.
1996 he played his first big festival by DJ-ing at the Graspop Metal Meeting in Dessel from the very first edition. After 25 years he’s still the one and only resident dj of Graspop waving everybody goodbye on the final day with his DJ-set at the Metaldome.
After many years he evolved from being a DJ to VJ. Looking for old and long forgotten classic rock novelties and videos, he added an extra visual element to his shows. Accompanied by dancers that bring back the 80’s vibes and turning every stage in to a time machine. During this time he also became a resident DJ at Alcatraz Music festival and developed to even DJ/VJ in multiple genres. One of the highlights was in his career was also playing the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, largest indoor venue in Belgium, during Graspop Metal Moose.
